Thought the threat is always present at the back of the mind when it comes to our pet and this concern one should take it seriously. Symptoms for the same might not be developed or seen early in dogs; though one should never turn a blind eye. Signs like fever, running nose or eyes parts, weight loss, stiffness while walking swelling in limbs, infection in gums, loss of appetite, retinal bleeding are developed through Ticks. Searching for Dog Ticks, you should run your hands on all over its body, pay close attention near ears and skin folds. You should wear gloves to protect yourself in case it might stick. Make sure you are fully covered while examining your dog. Once you have found out the Dog Tick carefully flush them into washroom/toilet or you can place it in an airtight container. If a part of Dog Tick is still visible pull them out with the help of tweezers even though you are not succeeding do not panic they will eventually fall and then thoroughly wash your Dog with good shampoo or soap. Carefully watch the activity of your Dog for few days in case if the infection persists contact your Vet for the same.
